Why We Exist

What is Flow State?

This term refers to the mental state where the conscious/analytical mind steps aside and gives up control to the subconscious mind, allowing the body to carry out what it has been trained to do through repetition and practice.

This has also been described as "playing out of your mind", or "in the zone". Flow State is a state of "relaxed concentration", where the body performs naturally and fluidly. Someone who is in this state of mind is fully absorbed in the present moment and is said to be a passive observer of themselves. Through this, they view their own actions without judgement and are finally able to perform free from distraction and doubt.
